Age of Majority
When we turn 18 years old in Virginia we are considered adults. With adulthood comes new rights and responsibilities for youth and less control for families. Youth with disabilities, families, and teachers should be aware of these changes.
Education
When students turn 18 they have more control over their IEP meetings and other educational decisions. Make sure you are ready for these changes!
